Flight 157 (Killam/Sedgewick) Hosts Aerobatic Competition

The Iron Creek Flying Club (COPA Flight 157) will host the initial aerobatic competition of the Canadian 2017 season. Competitors from across western Canada in all categories from Primary to Unlimited are expected to attend. The public is welcome to attend (free of charge) and fly-in attendance is welcome. Come and meet the present and future Canadian Aerobatic champions.
The competition runs from 08:00 to 18:00 on both days. The first competitors will be in the air at approximately 09:00 each day and flights will continue until all of the daily competition events are completed. The airport remains open during the competition. Aircraft are permitted to fly into and from the airport during the competition, however advance radio contact with ground advisory on the airport frequency is encouraged.
