SUMMARY:E.A.A. Young Eagles (Haliburton Stanhope)
DESCRIPTION:This will be the 23rd consecutive year that an E.A.A. Young Eagles sanctioned event will be held at the Haliburton Stanhope airfield. These events have given over 2000 youths the experience of flight in small aircraft. Unlike the isolated experience of travel in a modern airliner\, small planes can connect with kids. The experience will fully transmit flight through earth’s air currents\, with a ‘seat of the pants’ experience\, neither the airliner nor any video game can replicate. The Experimental Aircraft Association\, although an American based organization\, has members world-wide. It is the belief of these member pilots that youth benefit by this experience\, even if only to hold the dream of being involved in aviation themselves one day.
